See the wonder of Canada's wilderness landscape on our secluded island location! Our resort, situated in the heart of Ontario's backcountry, gives you the opportunity to revel in the glories of the great outdoors on your get-away vacation.
The main lodge offers you a tranquil setting with a breathtaking view of the natural terrain encompassing you. At day's end, you'll also enjoy the night-time sky showing stars in all of their glory. Inside the lodge you will find a comfortable lounge area that invites you to take a moment to relax and bask in the warmth of the open-hearth fireplace. You can browse through the library, or play a round of Ping-Pong.
At French River Lodge our guests are surrounded by a spectacular view of Ox Bay, where the French and Pickerel Rivers join on their way to Georgian Bay. The main complex also includes a variety store to meet our guests' every need. The lodge shop carries everything from groceries and souvenirs, to fishing licenses, tackle, maps, and tourist information. We feel confident that you will find all you need on a holiday adventure with French River Lodge!
